Get Rich in Roblox
Did you know that both Roblox and Fortnite - two of today’s biggest games - rely on a regular outpouring of new digital items from content Creators?
And even more importantly - did you know that you can benefit from that? You don’t have to be a programmer to make simple games and monetize them in either Fortnite, Roblox, or both! In addition to selling games (and maps) on these platforms, you can also sell custom virtual avatar items, for example the clothing and accessories you can find on sale in the Roblox Avatar Marketplace.

Roblox paid Creators almost $1 billion in 2024 - $280 million solely in Q4. And Fortnite wasn’t far behind, paying Creators over $350 million over all of last year. Build content that players want in these games, and as your following grows, so will your revenue.
AVI’S TAKE: In-game content creation is going to get easier and more prolific over time, as game publishers see the success of Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft, etc. and aim to build their own content gold mines. Add AI to the mix and over the next 2-5 years, it’ll be possible for literally anyone to build and monetize entire worlds in just a few hours. I’m already seeing startups going after this market, so I predict that this will be the next massive content monetization opportunity.
While some content creators might create just as a hobby, a large percentage of them are making content creation a real career, from influencers, streamers, and TikTokers to social media managers and businesses joining the social media game.
But which social media platforms stand to make you the most money?

The answer is complicated, and will vary based on the type of content you create and how much you push it on your other socials. But in general, TikTok is currently thought to be the platform that pays the most out to Creators, with YouTube a close second.
TikTok is #1 because it offers so many ways for Creators to earn, from TikTok’s Creator Rewards Program to TikTok Shop, TikTok Creator Marketplace, TikTok Subscriptions, and Live Gifting. Combining all of those things - plus creating great content - can bring in some hefty revenue for ambitious Creators.
YouTube’s Partner Program is next in line, allowing Creators with over 1,000 subs to earn directly from YouTube memberships, ads, and more. YouTube’s other earning mechanisms include Super Thanks, Super Chats and Stickers, and YouTube Shopping, where Creators can sell products via their content.
Instagram also has some solid monetization features, including their own Creator Marketplace, Badges, Gifts, and Subscriptions. Twitch lets Creators earn through Subscriptions, Bits (essentially tips, but using Twitch’s own virtual currency), ads, and third-party sponsorships. And Facebook, which requires 10,000 followers for ad monetization, also allows brand collaborations and Fan Subscriptions.
Putting your eggs in plenty of baskets is always a smart move (especially considering the current price of eggs), so it can’t hurt to pursue monetization on all of your socials. But TikTok and YouTube are on top of today’s money-earning heap.
Cameo Charity Drive
Cameo is a website where celebrities get paid to create personalized videos for birthdays, anniversaries, or other special occasions. Pledge is a free platform that allows anyone to raise funds for a charity or cause, with only limited fees charged for credit card processing over a certain donation amount, where many third-party fundraising platforms often deduct fees of up to 30% of the money raised.

And now Cameo and Pledge have teamed up for a new campaign that will enable potentially huge fundraising streams for nonprofits, by allowing Cameo creators/celebs to donate 95% of their Cameo video booking fees to Pledge, in support of charitable causes.
Cameo and Pledge have joined forces before, raising funds for Save the Children and L.A. Fire Relief, among other nonprofits. This new collab will enable any creator on Cameo to fundraise for over 2 million nonprofit organizations, letting them easily support causes they care about and driving huge amounts of funding to nonprofits in need.
