Here, have some jet fuel
Your newsletter, now exiting the stratosphere.
We’re beehiiv, the newsletter platform built for builders. Every product we drop and feature we create is made with one goal in mind: exponential growth.
Our three founders left Morning Brew to bring the tools and tech to creators everywhere that helped turn their old company into a multi-million dollar operation. So when we say we can take you from “up-and-comer” to household name, we mean it.
If you need a beautiful destination for your content, use our no-code website builder. If you want paid subs, we don’t take a dime. If you want big name sponsors, we connect you with the likes of Nike and Netflix.
In short: maybe your newsletter is stuck on the ground floor because your newsletter platform is stuck in the last decade.
Take Action
Every Creator should be on LinkedIn, for no other reason than to make money.
If X is the “town square” of the internet, LinkedIn is the “business district”. Everyone there is a professional.
The people in the town square represent a cross-section of the population…and that means that most of them don’t have a lot of money.
Meanwhile, everyone in the business district is wearing a suit, has somewhere to be, probably makes great money, and is far more likely to control significant budget.
Now, you may be thinking something similar to what Elon Musk recently tweeted:

Here’s the thing: LinkedIn is cringe, because selling is cringe.
But to make money, you’ve gotta sell.
If your goals, for example, are any of:
Getting brand deals
Selling high-ticket courses
Finding clients for a service
LinkedIn is where you will find:
Influencer marketers
People looking to upskill
Decision-makers needing to hire experts
Here’s how to get started using LinkedIn to make money:
Optimize your profile
Add a good, clean photo
Use a Canva template to make a simple banner that describes what value you provide, and to who, as well as some social proof (client logos, big numbers, etc.)
Write a direct, simple tagline (Example: “I make content about {topic} for an audience of {number} {type of person} on {social platforms}”) and include your email address.
Fill out your About section using Simon Sinek’s famous Why-How-What framework: WHY you do what you do, HOW you do it, and WHAT you offer.
Link your socials, products, and services in your Featured section, so they’re easy for prospects to find.
It’ll let you do things like
See who viewed your profile
Send messages to people you aren’t yet connected with
Get access to content analytics and other tools
Post about your business
It doesn’t have to be super frequent, but it should be consistent - once a week or once every other week
Talk about projects and partnerships you completed
Tag people you worked with, and say nice things
Include proof, like numbers, images, and testimonials
Example: “I just finished a partnership with {company} where we got {number} views across {amount of content}. It was great working with {people at company you worked with} and I look forward to partnering with them again! If you’re looking for {whatever it is you do}, please reach out - email in bio.”
If you do posts like that every week or two, you’re sure to get tons of connection requests and increase your inbound client and customer interest.
It’s worked for me (follow me here!) and many many others.
